I Will Raise $1,000,000 From Domaining!
I can't stand it anymore.
People are keep telling me to stay away from my computer, which apparently has given me nothing but a dumb and dumber look on my face. They all say that Internet won't make you enough money to support a living. There is no way you can feed your family with just a dead typewriting machine with monitor and a telephone cable.
Those words were like a thousand knives stabbing all over my body at the same time. I shed a little tear that day because the pain I felt was even more painful than a piece of glass that cut my wrist years ago.
Even my dear family, my own folks tell me to drop off my silly dream and go out there to get a real job.
"But this IS a real job!"
At least that's what I always said deep in my heart. You see, I really can't say anything to defend myself. I don't have the bragging rights because I haven't proof anything to anyone.
I have failed. Severely.
I've been a struggling domainer since the day I have chose this profession. Maybe I'm the only person on Earth who never make a decent ROI on my domain investment. How stupid is that, right?
Nobody looked my domain names seriously. What's worse, I see others sold their 2-word or 3-word domains for over $1,000 easily at Sedo and Afternic. And their not even developed yet. It's as if the whole world is conspiring against me.
I know, I know, domaining is a long-term investment. But seriously, I need the money now because my family depends on me to survive.
My father is a 60-year-old entrepreneur-went-bankrupt. So no matter how much we love him, we can't depend on him anymore. He's too old for applying jobs and obviously, too weak for labor work.
Yes, this is a hard time for me and my family. But I keep telling myself that this isn't over yet. I believe that domaining is still one of the fastest ways for common people to join the ranks of millionaires where money is no object. To the rest of us, financial freedom is thousands of light-years away from reality.
That's why I've decided to fulfill my dreams no matter what other people say.
Now, I may have missed the early rise of dot com domains where you can buy Pizza.com for $100 and then sell it back for $1,000,000 in today's market, but I will not miss another gold rush ahead of me.
Meanwhile, I will create my own opportunity.
Today I've registered the domain name; seminarist.com for my new goal of raising $1,000,000 from domaining (as well as hoping that the 888 day would be a perfect day to start my campaign).
Seminarist means a student in a theological seminary. I think the name perfectly describes who I am. Because first, I'm still a student in domaining world. Second, I always consider domaining as my second religion. Although I'm surprised that a dictionary word like this still available.
Now back to $1 million. Is it possible? Yes, I'm sure of it. How long? That, I can't tell. A year or a decade, I guess it all depends on who's the buyer. Heck, I can retire tomorrow if some company would buy out my portfolio right now.
This is why I chose to become a domainer, anything can happen. And from now on, I'm going to change the way I offer my domains. I'm starting all over again.
What makes my portfolio different? Why should you buy from me? On this website, I'm offering my domain portfolio to you with a crisp. Every name you buy from this website, 50% of the proceeds go to Kiva, one of the leading micro lending organizations on the Internet.
That means, not only you will receive a valuable domain as an investment, you will also help other entrepreneurs-in-need to start make a living on their own.
Why Kiva? Because I'm an entrepreneur myself.
And I'm also a believer who thinks that donation can only feed a family in one day, but a soft loan can feed a family for many years to come.
It's not that I'm against donators though (if you want to donate me, then I'd be glad to receive your money with a wide open smile), it's just that if you feel compelled to help other people, then I believe a $1 fishing rod is much more valuable than a free lobster.
It's true!
Or is it just me being a half vegetarian?
Anyway, to get this started, I have lent some cash from my remaining account to Kiva. Here's the link...

Note: the money which has been raised through this website will stay in Kiva forever. No one can withdraw the money, not even me. The sole purpose is to keep the fund rolling to others in need for as long as the human race exists.
Yup, that long.
Well, I guess that's it for now. I will prepare the showcase to display my portfolio soon. Thank you for reading, friends.
P.S. Sorry for my English. I'm not a native English speaker, so my English is not perfect.
